Information
Salford Pride
This event is being supported by Salford Pride. They are providing us with support with engagement and outreach. Thanks to Salford Pride, we're able to give underrepresented LGBT+ people a voice.
"OUR MISSION IS TO WORK TO BUILD A STRONGER, DIVERSE COMMUNITY THAT CELEBRATES INCLUSION AND EQUALITY; WHERE LGBT+ PEOPLE ARE REPRESENTED, THRIVE AND LIVE AUTHENTICALLY IN OUR CITY AND BEYOND"
Salford Pride delivers Salford’s annual pride event, The Pink Picnic, and other fundraising, awareness and educational projects for the LGBT+ community that are open to all to attend and enjoy - no matter how they identify; promoting equality, inclusion and community cohesion.
Salford Pride became a registered charity in England and Wales on 20th January 2020 and in the same year, began to digitally adapt their first event, ‘The Pink Picnic: Digital’ as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, the organisation have been exploring new ways to engage the community and to deliver online projects to the LGBT+ community within Salford and Greater Manchester.

The four of us make up a team called ENIGMA EVENTS:MCR. We are a new digital-first events management company based in Manchester.
Digital-first means that we plan and run events which are either fully virtual and take place online, or hybrid, which combines the tactility of real-world events with the accessibility of online events.
